- LatinVIP.com, a Latino special events and networking organization, along with numerous Hispanic professional organizations, businesses and alumni associations, will host the 11th Annual Cinco de Mayo Networking Happy Hour, Friday, May 4th at Eden Lounge (1716 I Street, NW, Washington, DC). The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and feature DJs, food and live music by Judy Benavides and the Mariachi Estrellas.

 
“It’s hard to believe that 11 years have gone by so quickly,” stated LatinVIP Co-Founder, Estuardo V. Rodriguez. “The Latino professional community has exploded in that time in all areas. The numbers of lawyers, Capitol Hill staff, economists, non-profit advocates, as well as international agency and government employees make D.C. one of the most exciting cities for Latinos. We look forward to bringing everyone together again for our annual celebration.”
 
Since its inception 11 years ago, the event has become the largest gathering of Hispanic professionals outside of Hispanic Heritage Month events attracting no less than 600 attendees every year.  With the large and diverse number of organizations and businesses that participate, this event has become ideal for networking and also for socializing with old friends and making new ones.
 
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the 11th Annual Cinco de Mayo Networking Happy Hour and will feature:

• Drink specials and appetizers until 7:00 p.m.
• Live performance by Mariachi Estrellas, a 6-piece Mariachi band, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
• DJ throughout the night
• Admission is completely FREE for all that RSVP, $10 otherwise
