“Jazz Up Your Career” FEW’s 41st National Training Program

Washington, DC – Federally Employed Women (FEW), 41st National Training Program (NTP),“Jazz Up Your Career,” will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana, July 12-16, 2010, at the co-host hotels--New Orleans Marriott and the Sheraton New Orleans.
Based on FEW’s commitment to improving opportunities, its training has been designed to provide all federal, private and public employees, including military personnel, with the tools necessary to establish and build successful careers. Courses and workshops were selected using the Office of Personnel Management Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) as the framework. A variety of educational formats is planned to deliver the optimal education experience. Online Registration is now available at www.fewntp.org.
The opening session, Monday, July 12, 2010, will featureDorothy Nelms, twice National President of FEW.She is an attorney and an internationally renowned speaker and retired federal employee.She brings it all to her inspirational and motivational presentations.
A Legislative Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2010.The speaker will be Roberta W. Francis, Chair of the Equal Rights Amendment Task Force of the National Council of Women’s Organizations (NCWO).

§A Career Fair on Monday, July 12, 2010, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
§Military Recognition Day, Tuesday, July 13, 2010.Military personnel will be offered specially designed training courses and a forum featuring speakers to discuss issues impacting women serving in the military—a special discount registration price is available to our military personnel
§FEW Community Project –Help FEW help those in need at two schools in New Orleans’ 9th Ward.One hundred percent of the donation will go directly towards items such as supplies and uniforms for each school.Our goal is to raise $5,000 for each school.A tax-deductible donation can be made online at www.feea.org.
