The Hispanic National Bar Foundation Announces its Annual Awards Dinner

Washington, D.C. - The Hispanic National Bar Foundation ("HNBF") announces that its Annual Awards Dinner will be held July 9th, 2009 at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. (555 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW).  Join the HNBF in celebrating the contributions of three Latino leaders whose hard work, dedication, and commitment have made a profound impact in the legal community.

The HNBF will be honoring: Manuel Medrano, an Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning journalist and former award-winning Federal Prosecutor; Marlon Q. Paz, Senior Counsel, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and President of the Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia; and David Arroyo, Vice President of Legal Affairs, Scripps Networks, and Chairman of LatinoJustice PRLDEF.

The HNBF is grateful to have the following members of Congress serve as the Annual Awards Dinner Host Committee: Senator Mel Martinez (FL); Senator Daniel K. The event will be hosted by Yarel Ramos, Host of Reventon Countdown and other programs on Mun2, and Chris Saldana, anchor/reporter for the CBS affiliate, KLAS-TV, in Las Vegas, NV.  Both hosts have also made notable contributions to the Hispanic community.
