Washington, DC – As part of its ongoing, comprehensive effort to positively impact diversity and open doors for talented Latino youth in the halls of Congress and across all sectors, CHCI launched its first in a series of Industry Breakfasts on Tuesday, March 22.  The events bring together stakeholders from targeted sectors to engage in meaningful conversation on how to address the lack of diversity in key industries and how to tap into the Latino talent pipeline as a solution to the problem.

CHCI’s first Industry Breakfast focused on the areas of energy, commerce, natural resources and technology.  Future events will address workforce diversity in the areas of financial services and small business, education, trade, transportation, and homeland security.

CHCI would like to recognize Mary Kay and BP for their support of this new diversity initiative and for their commitment to diversity and supporting the next generation of Latino leaders.
