 On Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 8:00 PM, Rick Najera will debut his one-man show Almost White: Forced Confessions of a Latino in Hollywood at the GALA Hispanic Theatre, “National Center for Latino Performing Arts in the nation’s capital”.  The ticket price is $20.00. Doors open at 7:00pm- Performance at 8:00pm, directly after the evening’s performance at 9:30pm Rick Najera will host a book signing of “Almost White” in the theater lobby.

 Almost White: Forced Confessions of A Latino In Hollywood, won first place in the International Latino Authors Award for “Most Inspirational Book”. In his one-man show by the same name, Rick Najera takes an unapologetic and honest look at the depiction of Latino culture with his new thought-provoking and comedic memoir.  Najera explores what it means to be Latino within the ever-changing backdrop of life as a Hollywood creative. California-born with Mexican-American roots, Najera offers an insider’s view into his life through an ironic yet comedic lens, from in front of the camera to behind, from the page to the stage and beyond.
