Washington, DC  -  Women’s History Month is cause for reflection and action. In that spirit, the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda and Political Parity have partnered to create LatinasRepresent. Their goal, to increase Latinas serving in elected Federal and state offices. Today only 1% of all Federal and state elected officials are Hispanic women.

Melody Gonzalez will be hosting a Google+ Hangout today at 1:30pm ET. Joining her will be journalist Maria Hinojosa, Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez and labor and civil rights activist Dolores Huerta.
