Greenville, NC - The Association of Mexicans in North Carolina (AMEXCAN) will be hosting a School Bullying Workshop on March the 3rd at 6:00pm at the AMEXCAN Center located at 261 Belvoir HWY, Greenville, NC.
The workshop is being held to teach parents how to look for signs of bullying, know the right questions to ask, and learn how to help their child to deal with bullying.
“Now more than ever we must empower parents and educate them on how to address this social problem,” says Juvencio Rocha-Peralta, director of AMEXCAN. “Our community is at risk of being more abused and vulnerable in this era of racial harassment against the migrant community.” he adds.
Furthermore, a professional counselor will be in attendance to answer any questions parents may have.
For more information about the workshop contact AMEXCAN at (252) 258-9967 or amexcan@amexcannc.org.
