Miami, FL - New York, NY --(CapitalWirePR)-October 27, 2008--Latinos in Information Sciences and Technology Association (LISTA) announced today that Anthony (Tony) Jimenez, President and CEO of Microtech (www.microtech.net), is the LISTA Chief Executive Officer of the Year for 2008.
Each year, LISTA honors top Latino industry executives from across the country including at its National Latino Technology Achievers Gala Awards Dinner. However,by selecting Mr. Jimenez for its Chief Executive Officer of the Year, LISTA is recognizing his contributions to the Hispanic community and business environment at large. In particular, LISTA noted his support of programs that expand opportunities for youth in the areas of literacy, computer technology, scholarships and internships. LISTA also identified Mr. Jimenez’ long-standing commitment to the advancement of technology, the Latino community, and philanthropic and diversity initiatives.
