Atlanta, GA - The Georgia Latino Film Festival will celebrate its 9th edition with an Exclusive Live Event: NAJERA IN AMERICA – LIVE FROM ATLANTA! October 2nd 2020 @ 6pm at Plaza Las America, Atlanta, GA.

Georgia Latino Film Festival kicks off with a Drive-in Experience, along with Emmy Nominee, Author, Writer, Producer Rick Najera, for an exclusive experience: Najera In America - Live from Atlanta! Featuring amazing Hollywood industry thought makers who will share their experiences with our attendees.

Antonio Jaramillo whose path has led him to the stage, screen, and TV shares will share stories about his Hollywood experiences. This sexy, handsome, brilliant actor has been turning in stellar performances in programs such as Mayans M.C., Shades of Blue, and Magnum P.I.

 Luis Guzman  is a Screen Actors Guild award winner, Actor and Producer best known for his many memorable performances in films such as Carlito’s Way, Traffic, The Count of Monte Cristo, Punch Drunk Love, Boogie Nights,  and Shameless joins us for a conversation about his career.

 “In a year of change such as 2020, the Georgia Latino Film Festival remains committed to the next generation of Latino Film Makers in Georgia. We are Inspired by the creativity, culture and community that continues to prevail in this brave new virtual world,” said Yvette Moise, festival President and Director of Programming.

The festival will also host a conversation with actor Christian Carabias. GALFF is honored to host the U.S. premiere of the film Sofia, in which he stars Sofia is a story about a self-sacrificing and enterprising woman who has dedicated herself to working and who gave up everything for her three nephews only to feel that everything has been in vainAt 35, she decides to take charge of her life. A film by Colombian Director Famur Botero also starring Paola Rey.
