Washington, DC - Due to the snow emergency in Washington today and the prediction of considerably more snow tomorrow and Wednesday, NFFN has decided to cancel all events for LIHEAP Action Day on February 9 and 10.

We apologize and thank you for the preparation that you’ve put into making LIHEAP Action Day happen, but we don’t wish to jeopardize anyone’s safety or risk them becoming stranded in Washington due to inclement weather airline delays. Also, it is unclear at this time whether or not the House and Senate will be open on Wednesday.

At present, we are exploring the option of holding the event in March. We will keep you posted.
