The traditional method that has prevented voter fraud since the founding of the United States is under attack by those who prefer to raise hurdles to voting. In some states, it is no longer possible to confirm your name on the voter rolls and cast a ballot. Voter fraud is very rare, but voter disenfranchisement is increasingly common.
