Greenville, NC – The Association of Mexicans in North Carolina (AMEXCAN) will be hosting the 6^th Annual AMEXCAN Community Leadership Awards “Celebrating Our Community’s Commitment and Excellence” in partnership with the Eastern North Carolina Latin American Coalition, Inc. The event will take place Wednesday December 13^th at 6:00pm at the Pitt Community College Craig F. Goes Student Center at 1986 Pitt Tech Rd. Winterville, NC 28590.

As a community-based organization, AMEXCAN relies on support from community members, partners, and volunteers to provide the services and support offered for the community. Community support and investment are key factors in the effectiveness of AMEXCAN’s mission, which can only be supplied by the community in which they work.

The dedication and service provided by these partners remain invaluable for the organization’s pursuit of its mission to support the Latino Community and the community at large. To acknowledge and honor those who have supported us during the 2017 year, AMEXCAN is hosting its Community Leadership Awards. In addition to honoring all our volunteers and partners, AMEXCAN will be specifically honoring those who have gone the extra mile and contributed their time, skills, and support to the organization and our community.
