Welcome Spring at this interactive festival… featuring the work of international and local artists, performers, and craftspeople… Sonrisas y Lagrimita Show Infantil, food, and activities. Spectacular show for the whole family featuring folk music, tango, dance and pop music. Let’s celebrate this LIVE Show featuring:

MC Silvana Quiroz will host the event. Highlights include the U.S. Debut of Argentina’s 21 Century “Harmonica” of Latin American and top levels artists in homage of Argentine roots, regions and important roles in the culture and the arts.

Three-time Cosquin nominee Fabricio Rodriguez headlines the 31st Annual Argentine Tango Pop Folk Festival in Arlington. Co-sponsored by Embassy of Argentina and Arlington Cultural Affairs, These artists are joined by a full lineup of pop, tango, and folk performers of national and world note, including: Ceibales of Salta “Traditional Folk Music Ruben Gimenez & Marcos Pereyra “Performing rhythms of Chamarrita and Chamame”, Chiesa & Gonzalez “Song Book of New Argentine Folk, Claroscuro “Melodies of Ballads” and Monica Totino – Cesar Barria “ Captivating Dancers” -more; Full Power Guitar; Cristian Perez guitar composer and fuses Zamba, Candombe. Chacarera, Mariela Marco “The Glamour Diva of Folklore & Argentine Tango” with Viviana & Jose Rojas “Folk Dances”, Oscar Magallanes of Chakaymanta & Blanch Xeinoum “Folklore Ballet”, Alberto Cuello, Folk Singer, Dardo Valerio Singer-songwriter will present “Destino”; Salvatore “Tribute to EDUARDO FRANCO of LOS IRACUNDOS”; and tango dancers: Carlos Gutierrez & PartnerAre doing a tango show”, Pontitango “The Tango Ambassadors”, and Liza & Alexey Semyonov “Honoring Tango Argentino”. Le Manch “Latin Rock especially of Argentine Rock”. 

SATURDAY MAY 12, 2018, at 4:00pm in our new location the Kenmore Middle School Auditorium, 200 South Carlin Springs Road, Arlington, Virginia. Part of the proceeds will assist the Mar del Plata School Nr.1 Elementary School “Pascuala Mugaburu”, and we will promote organizations such as El Poder de Ser Mujer and solidarism with CEDA and Alianza Latina.
