HISPANIC HERITAGE FOUNDATION AND THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS HOST ‘BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT’ SEMINARS IN NEW ORLEANS, OAKLAND AND DETROIT

Washington, DC - The Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) and the United States Marine Corps will host Latinos On Fast Track (LOFT) Body, Mind & Spirit Seminar in New Orleans, Oakland, and Detroit (see below for full address, date and time).  The seminars are free for junior and senior high school students, teachers and parents, and will focus on finding a healthy balance when dealing with the pressures of school, life and their futures as well as how to be better leaders in their school and community. The program will feature a panel of wellness professionals and college students; an interactive presentation/workshop on leadership conducted by the Marine Corps; career paths, resources and opportunities available for Latinos to achieve and maintain healthy Body, Mind & Spirit; and sponsor giveaways/raffle for attendees.
